Where do Apple trees grow in Minnesota?
Apples are grown throughout Minnesota. A majority of orchards are in the southern half of the state. The central and southeast portions of the state produce the most apples each year in comparison to the rest of the state. The University of Minnesota has a nationally, even globally recognized breeding site that has produced 26 varieties of winter hardy apples. |
